Mogbazar-Mouchak flyover is designed keeping in mind the left-hand driven vehicle. The flyover is being constructed according to the wrong design. The cause of the problem may be that there is no longer possible to correct errors in the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED). Repair the defect will break the 60 pillars.
According to sources, the number of defects in the structure of the flyover was marked before the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) experts. It was due to the wrong patterns. The university informed LGED that the 60 pilare errors are identified. However, the construction of pillars because it was not possible to fix the LGED. The reason, of the six parts of the 60 pillars is broken. This will increase the cost of construction of the flyover. The design of the new formulation of the project will be delayed. Asked about the Moghbazar-Mouchak flyover Nazmul Alam, project director, said the message from the merchant, the flyover is to assist in the design of the formulation. However, the project manager at the BUET experts disagreed with the statement. They said the original plan and design of the flyover was before. However, due to the start of construction of the underground service lines connecting the different parts of the piling was not possible.
BUET experts said, is the clear inconsistency of the flyover design. Number of upper flyover pillars is 8. Number of downward flyover pillars is 11. The road is almost 200 meters up in length and 320 meters down the field.
